Behind Arkanum Editions – The Editions of Hidden Knowledge are two people who don't just read books, but live them. We share a common passion: stories that take our breath away, worlds in which we can lose ourselves, and books that find their place not only on the shelf, but in our hearts. With great dedication and attention to detail, we want to create special editions – books that you don't just own, but that become part of a treasure.
We believe that with passion and dreams, anything is possible. That's why we founded Arkanum Editions GbR – to dress heartfelt stories in equally special editions.

Hey, I'm Paula and almost nothing makes me happier than books!
Books have always been more than just stories to me. Ever since I learned to read, they have accompanied me – as a refuge, as an adventure, as a home. Even as a child, I devoured fantastic worlds, and nothing has changed since then: I only ever read fantasy. For me, there is nothing more beautiful than disappearing between pages full of magic, dragons, curses, fae, and heroes. When I'm not reading, I collect books just as passionately as I devour them – because collecting books and reading books are two very different, but equally important hobbies for me.
Besides my passion for stories, I love riding my motorcycle or spending time with friends playing games. And my loyal companion? My cat Dino, who curiously sniffs every book before I get lost in it, and my boyfriend, who supports me every step of the way.
For me, there is no greater joy than transforming books that touch my heart into beautiful, special editions. Books that I want to put on my own shelf and never let go of.
Hello everyone, I'm Marina and my huge TBR pile is a part of me.
There's hardly a genre that hasn't been part of my reading journey. Whether fantasy, romance, crime, or thriller – I love stories in all their facets. Just like Paula, I'm not just a reader, but also a passionate collector. My bookshelf is my personal treasure and I firmly believe: reducing my TBR pile is definitely not for me, because you can never have enough books. After all, every mood needs the right story. I now own a mini-library and I'm proud of it.
When I'm not reading or riding my motorcycle, I spend my time outdoors with my two Dalmatians and my two horses. Together with Paula, I dream of new editions and ideas (or that I finally get my own dragon).
With a lot of heart, passion, and a spark of magic, we want to create special books together. Because with dedication and the courage to dream, even the impossible becomes possible.
